Life3 relies on the Konnex (KNX) communication standard for the implementation of building automation systems. It is the only worldwide open standard for building automation and it is compliant with European and international main regulations.
Life3 can assist the installer in both the design process and the implementation of the system and it counts among its staff members KNX certified developers that can set the systems in function through software ETS5/ETS6.
The KNX bus links all the devices in the building thanks to the constant exchange of information. Different products and different applications can work together by communicating with one another. The KNX devices network represents “nervous system” of the new generation building.
The building automation does not only uses the KNX standard, but also integrates other proprietary and non-proprietary standards through specific hardware and software gateways (for example: IP, DALI, DMX, Modbus, Bacnet,…) for the control of lights, automations, air conditioning, audio and video, security and safety systems,…
